(1.5 - 2 hr) Circle R has operated an educational sugar bush program for over 25 years. One of the major differences between our program and other area sugar bushes is that we have placed an emphasis upon students actively taking part in the maple syrup process. They will participate in identifying and taping sugar maples, collecting sap from the trees and tasting the change from sap to syrup.

Part of the experience will include a historical perspective and viewing of the technological changes from its aboriginal beginnings to present day operations. Students will also participate in an enjoyable tractor driven hayride. An optional all-you-can-eat pancake brunch, with our own delicious maple syrup can be added to your program when making your booking.

Recommended for pre-school aged children up to grade 3.
