Camper Code of Conduct (2026)

At Circle R Ranch, our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment where campers and community members can feel at home. Our Code of Conduct helps foster respect, safety, and a positive community for all participants—campers and staff alike.

Behaviour Expectations

If a camper’s behaviour compromises the safety or well-being of themselves or others, we will make every effort to address the situation through problem-solving and behavioural coaching. Parents or guardians will be notified, consulted, and kept informed throughout the process.

It is important to understand that if negative behaviour persists, Circle R Ranch reserves the right to remove the camper from the program. In such cases, camp fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.

In more serious situations—such as engagement in illegal activity or behaviour that jeopardizes the physical or emotional safety of others—a camper may be removed immediately and without warning.

Circle R also maintains a strict set of policies and procedures for staff, which are available upon request.

Code of Conduct Guidelines

All campers are expected to abide by the following:

  • No smoking, alcohol, or illicit drugs on camp property.

  • No dangerous items, including sharp knives or tools, unless approved and held safely by camp staff.

  • No cell phone use during camp hours.

  • Respectful behaviour at all times: Bullying, teasing, harassment, swearing, or aggressive acts are not tolerated. Even seemingly minor actions can have lasting consequences for others.

  • Stay within designated camp boundaries, which will be explained during the camper orientation.

Thank you for reviewing the Circle R Camper Code of Conduct. We value the partnership with our campers and families to ensure a positive, fun, and safe camp experience. We look forward to another wonderful summer!
