Cross Country Skiing and Snowshoeing

Buy a trail ticket or membership

Tuesday, February 3rd, 2026

All ski trails are OPEN including our Purple Loop and Log Chute. The base is well-established, the trails are smooth, and the skiing is excellent.

We received a lovely skiff of new snow overnight. All skate lanes and hills have been groomed for today; and tracks are in great condition with that bit of fresh snow on top. UPDATE at 12 noon: we received 3-5cm of snow this morning and that snow has blanketed the trails making for soft conditions.

All snowshoe trails are OPEN, with a fresh layer of snow on top and deep, soft snow off to the sides.

Buy your pass, grab your friends, and come enjoy the trails!

Don't forget to pre-purchase your daily trail pass and/or membership here

PLEASE NOTE: In order to avoid disappointment, trail passes are available for sale when we are relatively aware of snow, trail, and weather conditions and we can be open. Typically this is about 3 days in advance. Please check this trail report page and our local weather before purchasing.

  • Maestro says “There is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing!”

Dressing for cold weather is simple with a bit of planning. Layering is the key - it keeps you warm and lets you adjust easily if you start to overheat. Skiing is great exercise, and as your heart rate increases, you’ll naturally warm up.

Most people already have what they need at home, but if you spend a lot of time skiing or outdoors, purpose-made winter clothing can help keep you warm, dry, and comfortable.

    1. Base layer (next to skin):
Choose a lightweight fabric that wicks moisture away from your body. Avoid cotton, linen, or similar materials, as they retain moisture and can make you feel cold. Staying dry is top priority when dressing for cold weather. Traditional thermal undergarments work well, as do alternatives like polypropylene or silk. That said, wearing something is better than nothing - PJ pants, sweatpants, or tights can work until you decide to upgrade.

    2. Mid layer:
Add a turtleneck and a knit sweater or sweatshirt. If your coat has a hood, avoid sweatshirts with attached hoods to reduce bulk.

    3. Outer layer:
Choose a wind-resistant coat or jacket. Protect your legs with nylon wind pants or snow pants.

    4. Accessories:
Wear a hat that covers your ears, gloves or mittens (water-resistant is ideal), and a scarf or neck warmer. Pull your scarf up over your mouth and cheeks if needed.

    5. If it’s sunny…:
Bring sunglasses and sunscreen - the sun reflecting off snow can be surprisingly strong.

Dress well and enjoy your time outdoors all winter long!
